If I get new key caps, won’t they wobble?

The stabilisers are not a part of the keycaps. You should be able to remove the inserts from the kecaps.

Hey there.

I have a razer huntsman mini with red switches, and I wanted to get some key caps from matrix, but I noticed all of the stabilizers in the razer keyboard were not the standard stabilizers. Where can I get the razer keyboard stabilizers.

🤔 So... Just wanted to confirm whether I'm understanding you correctly?

I'd like to point out a thing, unsure whether you're aware of it or not: If I'm correct in assuming you have a keyboard with Razer Optical switches, do note that Razer's pre-installed stabilizer (dash-like stems set beneath the mounting plate, see below) is different from most aftermarket stabilizers (cross-shaped MX-stems set above the mounting plate, see image). Also, Razer's stabilizers probably will not accomodate aftermarket MX-stem keycaps.

Razer Optical Switch Stabilizer + Space Bar

Notice that the space bar has vertical dash-like attachments on its very ends, which clip into Razer's stabilizer.

First, the spacebar will not be compatible with most aftermarket stabilizers, which follow the MX-stem convention.

Second, I doubt Razer's stabilizer will be compatible wtih MX-stem keycaps, which have cross-shaped stems.

As for whether you can install standard MX-stem stabilizers into the Razer Huntsman Mini -- I haven't looked at the board's PCB so I can't say for certain, but I highly doubt they're compatible with aftermarket options.

I figured it out. I saw a video of a guy pry them off. I got my pudding keys on and they look really nice now!

do you have a link? I'm thinking of changing mine too

No, I forgot. But the process is very simple. All you need is a pocket knife or some thing to pry them off. It’s pretty self explanatory from there
