I was using the bluetooth just fine last night. Shut down the computer. Started it up today - doesn't seem to work. The button does not show up as an option in Windows 10 to turn it on and off. Troubleshooter says I don't have Bluetooth capability. However, it still shows up in device manager IF I select "show hidden devices".

Any guesses or explanations? I've tried updating to the latest drivers from Gigabyte.

I uninstalled the device and drivers completely. Hard shutdown the computer. Booted it back up and bluetooth works again.

Now the question is, why? I would love to learn. Anyone able to hazard a guess or otherwise explain WHY that worked?

Thanks!

Just got it back, again, by completely shutting down the computer. Using the power off switch on the motherboard, and letting it sit, and then turning it back on.

And it actually works, I can connect devices and they work.

If I reboot it goes away again.

Mine stopped working too and everyone tells me to do this but I tried and it didn't work. The CMOS was definitely cleared and any power left over should have been drained yet the BT is still messed up. I didn't pay this much for a piece of shit to not work.

Mine started working again. I did two things.

First - updated to the F11 bios from F11p (which was apparently beta even though it wasn't clearly listed as such).

Second - disabled windows power management of the USB controller that the bluetooth module is controlled by.

Not sure which was the actual solution but bluetooth is fine now!
