Looking for a headset that will give me the best music listening experience and have low latency for gaming for around $100.  It also must have a removeable mic as I have a separate microphone already.  I don't care about microphone quality and if it wasn't for horrible latency on other wireless headphones I wouldn't even get a headset but oh well, here we are.  I don't really want it to look super "gamery," just something that could pass as a normal pair of headphones.

Here are a list of options I've procured so far.  Please tell me if you have any experience with any of these or have another suggestion for me to consider.

Spoiler

Corsair HS70 Pro Wireless V2 - Seems fine, I like the look of the carbon ones.  Only concerns are sound quality (which according to RTINGS is good and according to soundguys is good on the little brother, the HS60 pro) and 16 hour battery life.  Would have to plug in every time I go to bed and on some days I may very well (between school, gaming, and listening to music while in my room) use my headset for 14+ hours.  Otherwise seems perfect and costs $100.

HyperX Cloud Flight S - This is the headset that made me stretch my budget from $100 to "around" $100.  I like the look, the sound quality is apparently not too bad, they have 30 hours of battery, and they seem all around awesome.  It also has some features my current headset has that I might miss like game/chat mixing.  Concerns are basically just the $160 price tag.  (I know the original Cloud Flights are an option, but I don't like the red and black look of them.  Same story with the Cloud II Wireless)

Turtle Beach Elite Atlas Aero Wireless - Good build quality, but from what I've read the microphone is the best part about these.  The treble range is apparently not very good which makes them not great for listening to pretty much any music with vocals.  They're only $100, but I think I like the design of the HS70 Pros better.

Steelseries Arctis 7 - Currently have the Arctis 5 and am not super impressed.  I like the headphones, but they fall off my head super easily even when uncomfortably tight and the bass on them sounds just... strange.  I don't think I want to get these even though the feature that lets you plug your phone in to get audio from that would be amazing for me.  The mic isn't detachable and it still sticks out even when shoved all the way in to the headset hole thing they have.  Plus, they're like $150 (if you can find them in stock anywhere).

Other headsets I know exist but don't want because of looks:  Corsair Void Elite Wireless, Logitech G935, G933, HyperX Cloud Flight, Cloud II Wireless

Welp, not sure if you've considered the Playstation Platinum Wireless Headset specifically designed for the PS4 or not. However, I've had this headset for 3 years with no problems. I'm not an audiophile, but I consider it to be of very high build quality and the audio quality is suitable for my needs. For PC there is nothing preventing its use, it is simply plug and play with the USB dongle that is provided.

Although, with the next gen systems being released. There is a new version, albeit not "Platinum". I'd consider this one for myself, but cannot give any indication of satisfaction seeing as I've yet to try it.

Thanks, but I play on PC and it seems like according to some posts online they don't work super well with PC.  I should have included that I'm on PC in the post.  My bad!

If you already have a microphone, why don't you look for a decent pair of headphones instead?

Yeah I understand, I had edited my original post while you were posting. However, I use them nearly exclusively on PC and have never had any issues. Simply plug the dongle in and they're good to go. Now that I've noticed you don't really need microphone capability I would suggest looking into a pair of headphones as Slottr had suggested.

Edit: A quick search on TomsGuide leads me to these Jabra Elite 45H  wireless headphones, not sure of their compatibility with low latency gaming though.
Edit 2: If you can stand the idea of a wire, this Logitech G PRO option seems to have everything you're looking for, and under $100 too!

Not sure if you're able to spend anymore than the $100, but for $199, the Logitech G Pro X Wireless Gaming Headset seems to have everything that you are looking for, save for the price being a limiting factor. I would have to say that in my experience Logitech has very high quality products.

Maybe some people just had enough of the darn cable and want a more comforting experience ?

Here are my two cents (though it comes from my research and my point of view as someone with sensitive ears):

Corsair HS70/HS60 Wireless - There's quite a few complaints out there from people who's ears can touch the drivers thus being uncomfortable for long periods of time. The software/drivers for them is rubbish and the general consensus is that they do require EQ tweaks to sound properly across the board. Battery is up to 16 hours not a guarantee 16 hours, depending on your volume, your luck etc, you might not even get more then 8 hours on them.

HyperX Cloud II Wireless - I know you said you didn't like the color but they seem like the best choice for your needs, up to 30 Hours of battery life, they sound nice right from the get to go, as someone who own the Cloud Core i can tell you they sound very nice with music and games, they are within your budget, they have a very durable construction and you got a lot of options when it comes to replacing the ear pads.

HyperX Cloud Flight S - Generally the best out of the headphones you listed, most of the things i said about the Cloud II's apply here as well but my only concern with this headset is that some people have complained about them not being loud enough.

Turtle Beach Elite Atlas Aero Wireless - Generally i heard some good things about them but your stuck with windows 10 on them, i also heard that the way they automatically turn off can cause some annoyances, turtle beaches as far as i'm concerned always come with some quirk/caveat, so i wouldn't be surprised about the treble thing.

Steelseries Arctis 7 - I have nothing to comment here since you had the Arctics 5 then you know best if this are even worth considering or not.

I have, trust me.  I want a good wireless pair of headphones, but I can't find a solution for low latency wireless on windows other than a 2.4gz gaming headset.  I've already made a forum post about wireless headphones and was told that if I wanted low latency, I pretty much had to rely on a gaming headset or some expensive and janky aptX low latency adaptor that most people say doesn't work with a bunch of products.  It sucks, and as much as I'd love to use a normal pair of headphones, I can't.  That's why I'm trying to find the most non-gamery, normal headphones I can that also support low latency for when I do play games.

I've looked at it a couple times but I really don't think I can comfortably go above around $100.  As a long time Logitech wireless mouse user I definitely believe in their wireless.  Maybe I can find a good deal used or refurbished?  It'll mainly depend on what's available.

Edit: If they get any lower than this, they'll definitely be competing with the Cloud Flight S

Yeah dude, but the issue with used is you don't know how many times that guy masturbated in those headphones. I mean, try watching porn WITHOUT sound. LMFAO. New is just a peace of mind that can't be beat.
