Hey all, ive recently built a new pc after years of needing an upgrade, i had an i7 2600k for nearly 10 years. im fairly experienced with building PCs (built around 11 so far) and tech in general, however, im having a few issues with my new build.

parts are as follow;

AMD Ryzen 9 5900x

ASUS ROG STRIX x570-E

Corsair Vengeance RGB 3600mhz

Corsair MP600 gen4 1tb m.2

Crucial p1 m.2

seagate barracuda SSD 1tb

MSI 3070 gaming x trio (which arrives tomorrow, currently using a friends zotac 1050 [mobo powered])

Corsair HX1000i

Kraken x73 AIO

Corsair 500D SE

My pc will turn on as normal and load up correctly and will run as normal. the issue comes when i try to load anything up. the second i try to load anything ie steam, disord, chrome the fans will start spinning a little faster, the screen will start flickering and the pc will restart. ive rebuilt the pc since, reseated the ram, cleared cmos, re installed the lastest bios update but still, no luck. the pc continues to crash.

I tried checking the cpu temp incase it was an overheating issue however the cpu will idle at fluctuate between 40-50 degrees Celsius. I opened up the NZXT CAM software to check other temps and saw that the cpu clock speed was hitting around 5Ghz.. the cpu is rated for 3.7Ghz and i have no intentions of overclocking. Im uncertain as to wether this could be the issue but any recommendations or advice will be greatly appreciated

It's not rated for 3.7Ghz, 3.7Ghz is the base clock, the lowest it should get without "underclocking", it should be fluctuating between those 3.7 and 4.8Ghz which is it's max boost, the more time it sends closer to those 4.8Ghz, the better. What PSU do you have?

Edit: I just realized this is my funny number post, I'll miss this achievement when I post again :(

Try without xmp on. I would also turn all bloatware off like NZXT cam and the ASUS stuff.

its disabled, and the computer seems to be running okay however, its running at a speed of 2133MHz according to task manager, any reason as to why its crashing when placed at 3600? considering the ram sticks are 3600

Maybe the xmp profile is not stable with your system? Do you have the sticks in correct slots? The closest to cpu empty, next occupied, next empty and last occupied?
