I was testing my mobo and it won't boot. The RGB lights come on but no fans or beeps  and the ram doesn't light up when I press the button.

I've tried:

Checking the cables

Reseating ram

Clearing CMOS

Reseating CPU

Shorting the pins manually

Taking the GPU out

My brother told me he had a spare asrock b450 steel legend I could have if I got my own cpu+ram, so I did. I've got a Ryzen 5 2600 with the stock cooler, 32gb of Corsair vengeance Pro RGB cl16 and a Corsair 450w psu as well as a Gtx 970

The psu worked fine in my last rig, all I've changed is the mobo/CPU/ram. Cpu and ram I got from eBay and haven't been able to test myself.

I've contacted asrock as well.

Edit:

My brother has since told me that he gave it to me because it didn't work for him. He said the fans came on but nothing else so he got a new mobo+CPU+GPU. He thinks that his old GPU blew up his other board as well as the one I've got

Update:

I tried it with a 550w TT psu so I'm 99% sure it's a dead board
