I Built this new PC a little over a month ago, and it's been working great for most games. For a few operations, specifically one game, I'll receive core temps up to the high 90's (celcius).
As soon as I built the PC, I noticed temps in the mid-high 70's just downloading updates and drivers. I figured this was fine as my internet is hot garbage and because I am using the stock Wraith cooler that came with my CPU. Ever since, I've been noticing higher-than-I'd-like temps in almost everything I do, but not threatening temps. That was, until I downloaded Descenders. Even on the lowest settings with my monitor framerate capped at 60Hz, I get core temps up to 98C. So it seems I need a new cooler.

I wouldn't be completely opposed to an AIO system, but I feel like a non-liquid cooling system would be more my speed. Any and all suggestions are appreciated!

Also, I currently have 3 intake fans on the front, 1 outward on the upper back, and no fans in the top, which has ventilation room for about 2-2.5 fans. I was unable to find my case on partpicker.

P.S: These are not the prices I paid for these parts, I just lost my original PCPartpicker list.

Do you know your case model? You mention you can't find it but don't mention the make/model (for clearance purposes).

I'm a big fan of the BeQuiet! coolers, I've installed several Dark Rock 4's and Pro 4's and are very quiet while keeping everything cool.

Try running Cinebench a few runs, what are your temperatures then?

Do you have a budget for a new cooler?

Any higher end cooler would work well for you. Noctua, Thermalright,  be quiet. Those would be my top three. AIO/CLC would be up to you. They are ok until permeation kicks in, or sludge. Then you use warranty and you get to use your stock cooler again until the replacement comes.

Le Grand Macho can take that heat load and be silent too. It can also be used passively to 90w TDP.
