look , idk if this exists or can exist , i just want to know if it ban or cant be done 

 

i want a program which acts like a Virtual  monitor , a window that i can minimize , and than i want to plug my laptop , so i have my laptop inside this Virtual monitor , maybe a PlayStation , maybe an apple tv .

I think what you're looking for is Picture by picture (something called picture in picture, PiP, PBP, etc.) in a monitor. That allows you to have another input on your screen.

i know but , i don't have that in my monitor , i was wondering if i can switch on of my hdmi ports on my gpu to be input instead of output and have a virtual tv/monitor which i can use

Unless you have a hardware level double tuner in you TV I do not knot of a way to accomplish this.

The only other way would be to run it in a virtual machine then you can drag the window around ETC.... But that would require separate hardware also.

 

 

I think there used to be TV tuner cards with an input port that could do this. But you would have to search.... I think last time I saw one was like 2010?

Basically you want a capture card with HDMI in some exist. USB 3 connection to PC and a HDMI input on the device.

Then you either use the software that comes with the card or DisplayFusion to create a separate monitor.
