Gtx1050ti with i3 10100?

Janettebot

Hello. I recently received a hp desktop as a gift from family and from a dead pc I salvaged a gtx 1050ti. I am currently debating putting it in for several reasons, one being power supply and the other beingposdible bottlenecks. Please help me decide.

The 1050 Ti is too trash to be bottlenecked by the i3 10100. Also, it doesn't require any 6-8 pin connector so you can use it on any power supply you want

If you're using the iGPU of the 10100 the 1050Ti will provide a big uplift, regardless of any irrelevant bottleneck.

As it is from a HP chances are it is a reference 75W design so should just slot right in to any system that isn't totally potato. Double check it isn't some OC card with power connector, and all is good.

The 1050 ti is far from trash, it's a good card for 1080p gaming if it can be had for the right price (as rarely as that is, I'd say $0 is a good price)

With a really crappy cooler

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

It's a gtx 1050ti windforce oc from gigabyte and it doesn't have a power connector. Thanks for the advice :)
