Floatplane questions.

Good morning, I have some questions about floatplane if anyone knows them.

Pretty much my only reason to have YouTube Premium are downloadable content and background play.

Now the questions are is there any way to do these on the floatplane app?

You can't download via the app but you can background play.

What device and OS are you on? On my Samsung S8 Android 9 it does not background play.

Gotcha, ya Picture in picture works but I need background play so that I can lock my phone and put it in my pocket. Unfortunately I can't really invest more in floatplane till at least that happens.  Well heres hoping someday.

Same here.  But I am contemplating on cancelling my subscriptions. I don't watch as much anymore.

They're pretty different in price though right? I pay what, $3 a month for FP, and YTP is like $50 a month or something?

You seem to be grandfathered in. I think they said lowest FP was like $5 or $10. YTP looks to be 12$~ US
