USED EBAY

Celtie

Is it fine to buy things like a 2060 on ebay if they arter lets say 250-300 because msrp is 300. Also if parts are used will that affect performance, and by how much.

Please stop posting thread titles in all-caps.

There is nothing wrong with buying parts on eBay if the price is right. Too good to be true is too good to be true. If you have a problem with what you bought, eBay's buyer protections are very strong, they side with buyers over sellers almost to a fault.

There is no reason that a used part should perform any worse if it's been properly taken care of and not abused.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

If the prices are close to new then don't buy em if they are a decent bit under that would allow you to get a better card then otherwise sure. Just make sure to always use paypal

I wouldn't pay close to MSRP for anything used

Depends how the original owner looked after the product. If it was looked after well (which is not hard to do), performance won't be affected.

eBay has a more or less bulletproof returns system that favors buyers almost 100% of the time. You have to admit to damaging the item in an eBay message to have your return request refused, and even then there are multiple other ways to get it back. From a seller's POV, it's bullshit. From yours, it means that the only reasons not to take a flyer on something from eBay are if it's going to take too long to get to you (Chinese GPUs, which you shouldn't be buying anyway) or the price doesn't make sense.
