If you just want the quietest PSU, that would just be the AX1600i, which you won't get for just $250. What PSUs are available for $250 obviously varies depending on where you're buying from, so if you want any useful recommendations, we would have to know where you're buying from.

just naming good and pretty silent psus.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

Unfortunately all of those are out of stock :( I narrowed it down to either the RM1000i, or the Phanteks revolt x 1200w. Would you happen to know which of these would be quieter?

probably the revolt X since it is higher wattage unit. they both are good quality. RMI is multi rail and  revolt X single rail but that does not really matter. IO would get hte Revolt X

The revolt is a Seasonic OEM that has had issues with the OV OPP set.

 

It WOULD NOT be my choice for pushing OC.

Do you have any sources for this? They should really update the PSU tier list if this is the case.

I already bought the revolt, but i wouldnt mind returning it if I had to.
