Limit Status Updates until after X posts

Over the last few months, there have been an increasingly number of new people who sign up, and there first post is a status update at a person asking for help. I know several of the Moderators have had them.

Any way to limit being able to post a status update until say like after 50 posts (or some other arbitrary number) to prevent this, similar to how you cant post in the Classified until 100 posts?

Edit: Here is an example that just happened of this very thing:

I'm wondering what caused them to post status updates in the first place

To me, making a new thread seems more obvious than something hidden in a profile

I'm not sure if signing up will put you at a page where things are explained, if not, it should be considered

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately
