fans don't spin on any fan related part of my pc but the mobo led works does anyone know how to fix this?

Not sure but either way the mobo led lights up but the fans just won't spin on the psu, air cooler, gpu or case fans and i don't know why?

Can having thermal paste left over cause this cos i had thermal paste made a mistake and wiped it with kitchen roll and no alcohol and then reapplied it could that be the issue?

Do you have an idea why fans don’t spin but led on mobo works and power button works?

You say your mobo leds light up. Then tell us what the code that gets displayed down there says

I mean the rog logo led what is that number?

Debug leds. Do they turn on when you turn on your pc? they should display a few codes in rather quick succession

That LED Number Display displays post codes errors. You need to check what number it shows (it will cycle through some sometimes, just make sure the last number doesnt change for a few seconds.)

Check the manual or search it up or just tell us the code it ends in.

I don’t have access to the pc I’m not home, but thanks for telling me what the code means at the button and how to use it ty and I’ll check it tommrow
