rockstar launcher network error

so today.when i tried to play GTA V on my pc.i bought it free on epic games store.rockstar launcher said offline mode could not establish connection.i unninstalled it and when i try to go on there website to download again  it says this  site can’t be reached.what is the problem.

They say its all online: https://support.rockstargames.com/servicestatus

Have you tried rebooting PC and or router as well? If not start there.

so i tried everything rebooted pc.router for 2 minutes but nothing.it was working perfectly yesterday,but today i cannot even go on there website.everything else works

Ah you cant even connect to the website. This should be in big letters since VERY important.
I means something blocks your connection. If you cant open it the game/launcher cant either.

yeah.i cannot even enter rockstars website and cant even enter thair launcher.laucnher says threre is no connection.how do i fix this then and how can i tell  if something is blocking it

I wasn't aware GTA were free.

But anyway, Rockstar server is a kind of mess right now. I got the same problem playing RDR.

And i got frequent disconnection midgame which is getting worse each day, i stopped playing.

Depending on your connection, you probably getting a banned IP.

So many cheaters and modders that they ban the entire IP subnet or the whole ISP.

Try using other connection like tethering from your cell phone or using a VPN to connect.

Yes that's the sign you are blocked or the ISP blocked you from playing gta.

try opening https://socialclub.rockstargames.com in your phone (with cellular).

We can't really suggest on how to bypass security measures imposed by others

i dont know why i am banned.i didnt do anything.i was just playing GTA.ok i will contact support

They do not specifically targets you.

Maybe they caught someone cheating that has the same ISP as yours.

Try contacting, but for me is useless, i tried contacting them, no solution, vpn solve my problem.

so i tried everything possible but nothing worked,then contacted rockstar adn after 1 month they fixed it.They will tell you  a lot of ways to fix the problem  but nothing worked so after that they fixed it for themselves.it took them like2-3 weeks,or you can change your IP by contacting your internet provider

i found the way how to fix it.
first u should install hotspot shield for vpn, delete Social Club folder inside programfiles x86, and then try to open the social club launcher WITHOUT vpn first, and when u asked to restart the launcher, turn the vpn on, and get in the game!
