Are you asking how to get 144Hz with a PS4? Because a PS4 doesn't support 144Hz.

Or are you asking how to use your 144Hz with your PC? Because if so, just get a Displayport cable.

If its gonna help here are my pc specs

Msi Geforce GTX1650 SUPER ventus oc

Ryzen 3 3100

Asrock b 450  pro f 4

Tforce 16gb ram

550w silentium pc psu (not sure)

+ broke the pins while installing Arctic freezer 34

As minibois says, the ps4 doesn't output at 1440p - and a display port cable is the one i use for my 1440/144 monitor so i know that works as it should.

I'll be honest, I'm not confident enough to say one way or another.

I don't want to give you the wrong information, so its better if someone else gives you a definitive answer.

According to your first post and to Samsung the 144 Hz model CRG5 does have a DP input? Anyway, getting 144 Hz over HDMI depends on whether your GPU's HDMI port can output it and whether the monitor's input has implemented it (I couldn't find the latter).

Both are fine, but I find DP to be less of a hassle regarding high refresh rates. Less worries about implementation in my experience.
