Bad Experiance with Asus Products anyone?

Well, i have had more problems with their products (As stated above). From 7 Asus products i bough, only 3 managed to deliver the service they we're intended to...

Let's see, monitor = 300e + each eah4670 card (2x 150e at that time) + 200e router = 800e (A bit above 1000$) for four products which failed.

I didn't stop buying products from them, I bought their MoBo's mostly because of the aesthetics (Of course the specs counted but it's nothing their competition do not offer so you reach a point where aesthetics can make the difference).

My Rampage II Extreme costs at that time abut 250e same is the Maximus VI formula im using now, about 220e i paid for the GTX 660 at the time.

as you can see, even if some of their products failed on me, i didn't stop buying.. Now, when i come home with a 200e router (It's a god damn router for home use, 200e is more then expensive!) I expect that shit to work.

Overall i invested about 2000$ in Asus and i reach i point where I see this as a mistake.

again, you have had success and some failures which is why I said, not directed at op. I read further down were one kid bought one thing and made one complaint. I just like to throw out the "single case, single complaint" because I dont want an entire group of people to become discouraged with a company over a single product failure which could also have been user error related. for instance, my mother refused to buy anything that says acer or even looks like acer, such as asus, because she had one laptop from acer that ligitably was crap but the product was not a failure, it was just a low budget laptop. I have acually proposed the acer laptop that linus used to her and some other people because it is a nice machine.

I didn't took it as a personal offence.

The market is full at this time, competition is high. The only way you can make a difference as a company is by offering quality of service.

If i wouldn't have a shitty TP Link router at home, now i would be out of internet... tomorrow i must drive back to the reseller, from there to the Asus workshop. At the workshop they will probably say they must test the product etc. and they will get back to me, which normally takes a few days. Im talking from experience (Same happened with my Asus monitor), because Asus support = a bucket of crap.

I do not complain about Corsair for example, one of their SSD died on me, called them, give the SN... 3 days later at my door the UPS guy was present with a new SSD, they had to ship it from Rotterdam (The Netherlands) to Romania. There i can say, money well spent. Plus the new SSD was a newer and better model and i paid ZERO $ for shipping etc. And hell, the SSD served me well for 2.5 years...

Overall: When you buy a product, no matter what brand stands on the box, you expect the THING TO WORK! If it doesn't then you want an immediate replacement.. in this case i get neither of those.

You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.
