What is the best computer setup?

I know some ppl prefer dual or triple monitor setup... some ppl like to have one monitor only.  I seen people on youtube who saw they use a big tv as their monitor.  I know everything one is different but is the general consensus two monitors or more is always better than one big monitors?

Depends on your style. if you're a streaming it would be nice to have two monitors because you can control the stream on one and game on the other. Two is the sweet spot for most gamers.

Well although ultrawides are nice and all. I still prefer having two separate monitos.

Lets you run something in true fullscreen on one monitor and do something else on second monitor. Also lets two monitors run at different resolution if needed.

I think that for the past 8ish years 2 monitors was pretty much standard at most companies for people who work with computers daily. I got my first dual monitor set up at work and could never go back..... In most companies many people still prefer dual monitors as ultrawides are still sort of buggy in the software department.

There is software like DisplayFusion that lets you create virtual monitors.

But physical monitors still work best.

I personally just switched from 2x25inch 1440p IPS panels to LG Oled CX 48inch and A dell 27inch 4k funnily enough in portrait mode the dell is the same height as the CX

Really depends on what u need to display.

I for example use a single large display , currently a 42" Plasma, in the future ill be upgrading to an OLED, I like to have monitoring software stats viewable at all times, normally this would mean i'd need another Monitor, however I use a EVGA Z10 which has a built in LCD display (previously a Logitech G15, also with a display), so i dont need another Monitor.

Other scenarios for people would be playing a game with a live stream or other videos playing on another display. or perhaps playing a game that lends itself towards needing to keep a spreadsheet open or 'plan' at hand.

So basically i'd say, its best to have both a Large display as your primary display, and at least 1 smaller secondary display. IF you have room. Large displays also tend to be 4k so u'd idealy want a strong GPU to drive it.
