This looks like the CPU cooler from something like a HP, Dell or something like that, correct?

Doesn't look like it's a normal 4 pin PWM connector.

Can you tell me, from left to right what order are the colored wires connected?

Is the order Yellow - Red - Black - Blue?

Assuming this fans follows the general rules with wire colors, it's wired up different as compared to how a fan is normally connected. The standard would be black, red, yellow, blue.

Looking at the picture, it seems like +12v is connected to +12v, but ground/rpm signal are on the wrong pins.

My advice would be to just get a simple, but standard cooler for replacement, unless you're feeling inclined to switch around pins (which I would high go against recommending).

Intel hasn't changed their mounting specifications in years (which is a good thing), which means their last 5 sockets are intercompatible with cooler, meaning the large majority of cooler available would work with Intel LGA 1155.

Intel went from: LGA 1156, to 1155, to 1150, to 1151, to 1200.

If a cooler mentions any of these (or sometimes they will just mention "115x", they would work with your motherboard.

That cooler would be fine for the price, of course if you want something quieter you could spend a bit more, but that really wouldn't be needed I think.
