PSU Support for ASUS PRIME X570-P

Will this PSU support this MOBO?

PSU: https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GP-P850GM-Modular-Protection-Supply/dp/B08JGPBML2

MOBO: https://www.amazon.com/Asus-Prime-X570-P-Ryzen-Motherboard/dp/B07SW925DR/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=ASUS+PRIME+X570-P&qid=1608866969&s=electronics&sr=1-1

I'm not sure how 18+10 connectors work. Definitely not sure how it will work if I attempt to connect it to the MOBO.

Trying to make a decision soon. Both of these products are on sale for an excellent price. My build is around 1800 so I would love to save a few bucks if I can get this PSU.

But yea, it will work. ATX power has been a standard for literally longer than I can remember.

Well, if it will work.. How exactly would it work? I know the PSu comes with an 18+10 but how is that supposed to translate to a 24 pin main MOBO connection?

Some of the pins just won't be connected. I have an EVGA 1300w Supernova with a similar setup for the 24 pin, and it has a few cables that just don't exist on those pins or that double up in the connector.

How would I know which pins don't connect?

It will just plug in. The way they are doing it is running multiple wires to a single pin on the connector. There is only 1 24 pin standard, it will plug into it no problem. You can't plug it in backwards either since the plugs are all keyed. It really will just plug into the mobo like normal.
