PC Case Fan Has Male 4 Pin Connector Does Not Fit Into Motherboard.

Johnny B

Hi I have this PC Case from AeroCool  <<< which has some interesting connectors for the fans which are led. My motherboard is an MSIB450 <<< Which does not allow me to connect the fans. I have another video <<< if you watch at 0:15 you can see the cable labelled 4 pin fan connector is a male and not female like a normal fans usually are. How can I connect this cable to my motherboard? many thanks!

Its that simple? I tried very hard to find one on Ebay but no success. That seems to be the only one on Amazon and it wont come till January :( How come the cable isn't a simple female 4 pin? Is this new tech or my motherboard too old?

You need adapter.

lol that was very vague. I cannot find an adapter that accepts a male fan header only female.

If I were you, I would be contacting AeroCools support. Its their hardware which is causing the issue. Male connector on fan side is not standard, so they must have reason for it. Or you have faulty hardware to begin with.
