so ive got back to overclocking my 10600K and i ran into something weird

i usually use C20 and some games to test stability

when the cpu was idling, the vcore reading on hwinfo was reading a voltage between 1.36 and 1.38 (VID was mad at around 1.38 and 1.41)

when the pc was underload the hwinfo was reading a voltage between 1.28 and 1.29 (vid was around 1.3)

is that normal?

ive disabled turbo power limits (max was 129W)

OC settings are 5GHZ on 2 cores and the rest are on 4.9GHZ, do you guys think i can push 5.1GHZ on 2 cores and 5 on the rest of them?

vcore is at 1.34 and LLC is on normal (hottest core was on 74c, idle is 30c) (MB vrms not going above 42c, Vision G)

and ive downclocked my ram from 3600 17-21-21-41 to 3200 16-18-18-38 so the load on the memory controller is not high (4 dimms) (vccsa and io is 1.2v)

Sounds like vdroop to me, compensate with a little more LLC

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

"Here is some advice that might have gotten lost somewhere along the way in your life.

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.
