I'm looking for a new keyboard, preferably backlit. I am tired of my blackwidow elite cause of the RGB and heard ducky keyboards were good. After hearing they have terrible spring noise and they aren't backlit I wonder if they are really the one for me. I really like the look of it though. So I go to glorious, hot swappable, RGB so I can make it backlit, but their aesthetics aren't as good and I don't know if I can replace their ugly keycaps with a good looking one from amazon and they're really expensive. So my question is: are ducky keyboards good? Where can I get a easy custom keyboard builder? Is the spring noise really that annoying? Based on my criteria what do you guys think would be best for me. I don't care about keycap noise by the way.

I would say that Ducky boards are overpriced. Their build quality are mediocre and the Cherry switch options available are not great imho (MX Red feels scratchy stock, MX Brown is barely more tactile than linears, MX Blue produces a rattly click noise).

I cant understand this part. Can you re-elaborate this?

Yes if you care about the sound as much as you care about the typing experience.

I´d say that today every RGB good looking keyboard is overpriced, sad.

The gmmk is a nice option and yes you can replace the keycaps for about any keycaps you can find that are mx compatible if you have switches in it that have the standard mx stem.  The gmmk is a really nice base to try different kind of switches.

If you don't mind being stuck with only one type of switches and that type being of cherry brand you can check the durgod keyboard, maybe you will find something that suits your need.

Personally I would still go with the gmmk ... or if you don't mind the 60% layout I would recommend kemove shadow or kemove snowfox.
