So I just relized that my case only has one case fan included so I need some fans. I already have the case so..... ya. Do you have any recomendations on what fans I should use in this build. Question can you intermix fans, for example use the one case fan and two other fans?  Also how many fans do I need?

Congratulations on making the end of your signature true.

I'd go with arctic fans for budget.

As far as intermixing fans, you're fine to. The only thing to keep in mind is PWM(4 wire) vs non PWM(3 wire). Your motherboard will still be able to control non PWM fans, but headers and all that won't work together. 3 pin non PWM on a 4 pin splitter if you're going that route.

Edit: You don't have 3 pin headers on that mobo. Make sure they're 4 pin fans.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

I am confused, do I need to get some kind of adapter for this to work with the Artic F12 fans?

No, they're PWM. Sorry. I over complicated this. Brain fart.

Edit: I'm having a hard time wording stuff right now.

No, you won't need an adapter. They're PWM.

If you're going budget go with artic fans unbeatable at their price point.

Arctic F12 are great airflow case fans and cheap too? Also if just add that the MSI mortar is generally considered one of the best matx board and is a similar price to the asrock board you've listed.

I forgot to quote in the last reply so quoteing here.

How should I configure the fans in my case and how many should I have in total?

Realistically, I think you could get away with 2 on the front. That case looks like it's not bad for airflow.

If you went with the value pack, you could do the 2 front. 1 bottom as intake to help the GPU, 1 on the front top to help the others, then swap the one on the rear for matching fans.

If a case is laid out well, you don't need that many fans. In my ITX case, I have 2 noctuas. There's the one on my PSU, 3 on my GPU and then my cpu cooler is a 240 AIO with 2 fans on it and that's enough for my pc.

Arctic F12 PWM are the best bang for the buck.

For those specs I recommend 2 front intake and 1 back exhaust.
