Hello guys I have win 10 installed and i want to install win 7 with it will win 10 use ram without opening it.

Your question is too vague to properly answer.

In my opinion, the answer to this question wouldn't be "install Windows 7" though, as this is an unsupported OS and could bring safety concerns with it.

You're far better off actually trying to fix your RAM issue, rather than relying on old unsupported software because it might use less RAM.

Or use a supported OS which has lower RAM requirements, like a Linux distro of some sort.

no, they'll be seperate OS's and windows 10 or 7 will only use ram if it's booted.

it will affect your storage obviously since you need to store 2 OS's.
