Mx Master 2s - 2 different versions?

Hey guys,

 

so I´ve been wondering a bit. I am from the czech republic and local shops now offer 2 different Mx Master 2S.

The original has this code 910-005139, the new 910-005966.

 

My question is... since Logitech doesn´t market any changes I guess it´s just a new batch? Do you think they went over some bugs and stuff? The only reason to buy it is that it has a brand new battery in it and not a 2 year old battery from what I gather.

 

Any thoughts?

most likely one of the following:

- a change of supplier or specific part for a component (for example, different battery)

- a minor revision (for example, pcb layout revision)

- a different assembly factory.
