ryzen 7 3700x

16gb (2x8gb) ddr4

b450 gaming plus board

evga 600w+ 80 plus white psu

ideally looking around the £200 price range, mainly just used for gaming at 1080p, do also run 2 additional 1080p monitors, thanks for your help.

Stick with your 1060 for now

the gpu prices are inflated at the moment, £200 won't get you a significant upgrade over what you have already.

a few months ago, i would have recommended a 1660 super at that price, but now they are around £270 and not really worth it.

either wait a bit for the prices to come down to normal, or look for a used card (although those prices will be inflated too).

As stated above there are no good cards at that price range right now. I would consider saving up for a better card.

How far?

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

Would £300-350 be sufficient? First time upgrading in 4ish years so don't mind putting in the extra money if necessary.

a significant upgrade would be a 5600xt, which currently sells for £350 (overpriced, it was launched for £300), or a 5700xt, which sells for £450 (again overpriced, they were once as low as £350)

In that price you could get a 5600xt but I would still suggest waiting since all the cards are overpriced. If you have to the 5600xt is a significant upgrade.

Had a look at the 5600xt's and they're selling for 350-400, I can wait a few months until the price hopefully drops, what's up with the inflation? I don't follow components too much anymore, is it just lack of supply? Thanks all for the advice anyway.

Seriously wait a couple months, now prices are insane cus of all the garbage scalpers and such.

200 pounds after all this nonsense is done should give you a decent card. Way better the the 1060 3GB.

If you really cannot wait maybe look into the 1660 if prices are decent.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Yeah that's what I'll do, its not essential to upgrade the gpu now, I was on an old i5-4570/8gb ddr3 so needed to upgrade the CPU first, I can still run most games pretty well, I'll hold out and save some money, thanks.
