since you have a z390 board already and I assume you don't want to change it, see if you can get a 9900k. otherwise, a 9700k. lower than that is not really an upgrade. the 10000 series will need a new motherboard

Thanks, those are i5s? also yes, buying a new motherboard is somthing I dont wasnt to do.

Apex, seige, and titanfall 2. I use high settings and I stream on 60fps at 1080p but only stream among us and titanfall.

You really could just get a either non k i7 or a k, but there is no need for an i9 unless you find it for a good deal, and you have the needs for it.

10600k is pretty good value if found at good price.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the z390 don't fit the 10600k?

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

I would recommend looking around to see if you can find the best price. I have gotten some good deals off of ebay, but you also need to be careful when you use ebay.

Since you have a Microcenter, grab the 9900k and enjoy it for a miniscule upcharge over the 9700k over the next 3-5 years.  You'll be maxxed out on that platform and it'll support any GPU you choose to upgrade to.
