Cpu suggestions?

You really could just get a either non k i7 or a k, but there is no need for an i9 unless you find it for a good deal, and you have the needs for it.

lots of people are upgrading from the 9000 series to the 10000 series, you might want to look on ebay as well for used cpus.

I would recommend looking around to see if you can find the best price. I have gotten some good deals off of ebay, but you also need to be careful when you use ebay.

Since you have a Microcenter, grab the 9900k and enjoy it for a miniscule upcharge over the 9700k over the next 3-5 years.  You'll be maxxed out on that platform and it'll support any GPU you choose to upgrade to.
