Small Update

Quick look at the Full Monsoon Bending Kit

And this is pretty much all I needed to use for my bending. I also got some painters tape to protect the tube when cutting and some 400 grit sand paper to smooth the cuts as needed.

Did the cutting and bending by following the Monsoon Bending Kit tutorial videos on YouTube. They were very helpful.

Here's a look at one of the tubes that I bent but measured wrong :) Don't mind that it's a bit dirty as I didn't bother cleaning it when I saw that it doesn't fit

Next update will be with all the tubes bent and the build nearly finished. Stay tuned

I got so carried away while doing the bending and putting everything together in one day that I didn't take any pictures of the process so hopefully this will do.

This is exactly what I am trying to do with my next build. Would you mind sending me the watercooling components list so i can replicate? @ciobanulx

Most of the watercooling components are listed in the first post on the first page. The only thing I haven't listed is the Bitspower fittings because I didn't really know how many and what I will use until it was finished. I have mainly used 90 degree fittings and 15mm extensions, the only ones you can't really see in the picture is the four 15mm extensions coming down from the top rad, you could probably use two 30mm but I couldn't really find any from where I bought them from. The rest you can make out from the pictures. I then used a total of 14 Primochill Ghost compression fittings that screwed straight to the Bitspower extensions. Hope this helps

This was during the leak testing. Only the pump, the lights and some fans that are not connected to the motherboard were running, everything else was unplugged at the back. I let it leak test overnight and all is good :)

Mayhems UV Emerald Green, really like how it's matching the fans and cables. 250ml makes 2 litres

post-20077-0-79362200-1396254795_thumb.j

This is what was left after filling the loop. That's a 2 litre bottle. I measured and took out 250ml of the water and added the coolant, gave it a good mix and poured some in a bowl and used a large syringe to fill the loop

post-20077-0-85903400-1396254803_thumb.j

This is what I used to fill it up, would of been really hard to pour the coolant into the res without that small tube. So I pretty much had that small tube going into the res and with the syringe I poured the coolant down that tube and into the res. Also the power supply jump starter to turn the pump on and off

Stay tuned for shots of the finished build

I haven't had the chance to do any benchmarks coz uni started but I did overclock the CPU and ran prime95 for a few hours. The 3770K is at 4.7GHz at 1.29v and I'm pretty happy with that. And both graphics cards are at stock as I haven't had time to fiddle with them and I really don't need to as I get stable 60fps and over in all games maxed out at 1080p so I really don't see the need to overclock my graphics cards yet, maybe if I decide to upgrade to a higher resolution monitor but I'm gonna wait to see how G-Sync plays out and maybe upgrade later in the year.

Now for the temps but please keep in mind that it's really hot in Queensland here where I live and its always around 30 - 35 degrees Celsius in my room during the day.

All of the following temps are with a 30 degrees Celsius ambient temperature.

The overclocked CPU at 4.7GHz 1.29v sits about 6 to 8 degrees above ambient on idle and hovers between 70 and 75 when gaming in games like battlefield 4, when I ran prime95 for a few hours the hottest core had 86 degrees.

The graphics cards sit 2 to 3 degrees above ambient on idle and 40 to 45 when gaming.

All in all I'm pretty happy with the temps as around 70 to 75 degrees when gaming on a hot day is all good with me. And I really don't see a bump in temps even when its 35 degrees in my room, although I can't really game at that temperature as it's way too hot for me then lol. And its like this 8 months out of the year, so I usually game in the evening when its around 28 to 30. I'm anxiously awaiting winter here haha.

I'll try to upload some screenshots of the overclocks, temps and some benchmarks when I have time in the future.

Hope you've enjoyed my build log and like how my build turned out !!!

Really nice build, i wonder if i could accomplish that next uni holidays. Perhaps moving to Tasmania would be a good option to get away from the heat, plus they need the population growth to boost their economy.
