Hey guys could you suggest me a system build for $2000?

Aim : Mostly gaming, a bit of streaming, recording, rendering and uploading gameplays on Youtube :D(Wouldn't wanna worry about upgrading in the future and 60FPS at 1920x1080 resolution!) 1 monitor only btw

I don't need peripherals like mouse,keyboard etc

I need a copy of Windows 8.1!

I wasnt sure whether you needed a monitor or not, I packed one in there though.

Also, the Noctua fans are just in there for maximum performance/silence. Of course, cheaper and less brown fans like Corsair SPs or AFs would do the job just fine.

As you did not specify if you want to oc, I chose a Xeon processor. Its basically an i7 4770k in every way, except that the volts on it cant be changed, the clock can be changed a bit though (to 4.0-4.2 Ghz). Its binned to a higher standard, and therefore needs less volts and produces less heat per clock. And of course, its got hyperthreading. All that for 50 bucks less compared to the 4770k.

two 780s for 1080p gaming?

Not needed, but with the budget he has it'll add extra performance for the future.

If he wants he can drop it, up to him. He gave a budget, I matched with stellar parts that will keep him happy for a while.

He also said he wouldn't want to worry about upgrading in the future, and this would keep him from needing to worry for a long time.

The rate at which computer parts are advancing is VERY slow compared to the past.

Upgrading in 5 years with this machine, would be VERY viable, and isn't a stretch by any imagination.

Yes he could go with a cheaper computer now, and upgrade in two years, but he said he didn't want to worry about it.

This also gives him Zero issues with performance in the future, even with higher end games.

However 2 GPU's would allow playable framerates for roughly twice the amount of time.

but if you only get one you can upgrade to a faster card when it becomes unplayable. adn single card over sli any time

Wo, wo, wo... Single HIGH END card, over Double MID RANGE cards, not single high end over double high end...

A 780 ti doesn't make sense, and getting one 780 is fine, as I said before.

Getting two would give him a bump in FPS, they scale 80-90% normally.

To the OP, get either one or two... Two gives you 80-90% better performance, but it's up to you in the end.

Matching your budget, my build would be AMAZING for gaming, with or without two GPUs.

Also a note,

The 4770k is in no way needed in this build/use case.

He's recording footage from games, not doing 3d rendering work...

A 4670k is 100 bucks cheaper, and will give you identical performance in the games of your choosing.

Should I wait for the 800 series?

Depends on your time scheduled. If you have something you can use until it comes, then yeah! More power :D

If not, we're not 100% sure when it's coming (sometime this year, we would expect), all we know is the 750/750 ti are both Maxwell based.

At the latest, I would expect a Q3 release, but it's all speculation right now.

If you can, wait, it not, don't. :P
