Best GPU For Minecraft?

What would be the best GPU to run Minecraft. With the GPU Id be packing an i5 4670k w/ 8Gb RAM. Lemme know - Alex // Swndlr

Pretty much anything would run minecraft at acceptable frame rates, but if you're looking for something that will run it well with mods and shaders and all that jazz, then I'd recommend the 750ti. You don't need anything faster for that, and it's really lower power and energy efficient.

Id be running it with Forge (ArmorStatus, PotionStatus, Optifine D1) and Idk I kinda want it above 100Fps constant.

Not overkill at all.... But then again I guess he did say what was the best. Look, if you want the best performance, I recommend 4 titan blacks, all watercooled and heavily overclocked.

Honestly it runs fine on the integrated gpu, but I'm sure minecraft isn't the only game you play, right?

Id be playing other games like Bioshock, Battlefield, etc...

A 760 should do you fine in that case, and if you plan to upgrade your gpu in the future, don't be worried about bottlenecking it. the 4670k is a great cpu.

I'd say give amd a try, if you can find a good deal on the 280x that is.

The main reason people prefer nvidia and intel is the advertisements, and not performance results.

if you have the extra money and can't wait until summer for maxwell (800-series), then go for it.

Im going to wait actually that was my plan. I heard the 800m cards came out. Looking forward to new laptop eventually as well

EVGA ACX 760 or 770 depending on how much money you have.

Though a GPU to run minecraft isn't asking much.

750 Ti is the best for the money. If you want to stream/ record, the extra powa of a 760 will come in handy
