i was just wondering if anyone knew of where i could get a hold of a nice amp for under around $100

what headphones and source do you currently have?

Unless your volume is not loud enough at max, I don't see why you would need an amp.

An amp is just that; a sound AMPlifier

I would second the FiiO E10 or the E11, just got both recently to try them out, so I can give an honest opinion on them, and they're fine for what they do, amplify your source. I've read reports of floor noise and hiss on some models, but I believe that it was just a faulty set.

Mine work fine and have no problem driving the headphones I currently have.
