Here's my PC. (I'm gonna upgrade to a Ryzen 5 3600x.)

 

Ryzen 3 2200g

16GB RAM

ASRock B450M PRO4

RX 5500xt 8GB 

600w PSU

DCS = Dumb Corrections of Spelling?
DCS = Digital Combat Simulator.

 

I can't find the minimum hardware requirements.

Yes, I've ran it on an i3 7100/1050Ti before with fairly high settings. It isn't hugely demanding.

Main speaker setup is now;

 

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

Yes it will run fine, depending on the module and terrain. Caucasus will be perfectly fine. The Persian gulf and syria map might be a bit of a challenge.

 

Its definitely a game that benefits from more ram, 32gb is the recommended for any real multilplayer server (just make sure you're running on the open beta branch.

 

And it must 100% be on an ssd or you're going to have a really bad time.

The base game is free so grab it and give it a go, that will tell you pretty quick.  It likes as much single core speed as as you can give it and as much ram as you can give it. 16 gb Ram should be fine for SP and small MP servers. Large MP server you'll want at least 32 GB.

Put it on an SSD or you may have weird issues with texture loading and being kicked from servers for taking too long to load although once the game is in ram you can usually join the 2nd attempt with an HDD.

 

With that said, I have a buddy who plays it on a old AMD Phenom 2 quad core, 16 GB Ram, SSD, and GTX 970 and manages ok in the F-16 with some settings tweaks. You're system will perform better than that for sure.

 

If you don't have one already, get a cheap head tracker setup from delan clip or trackhat. It's much cheaper than TrackIR and works just as well.

 

Hopefully you already have a HOTAS of some sort as the prices to buy now are crazy if they are even in stock. You can get away with an xbox controller (or even mouse / keyboard) if you're determined enough.
