How do you fix underperforming components?

My laptop that i got about 10 months ago was working fine until i noticed some performance issues on minecraft and many more games. Is there any solutions on how to make them work like they were brand new again?

Don't use Userbenchmark, it is really bad. Individually bench your components and compare them to reviews.

but even without user benchmark i notice that games are being less smooth and i have to turn down settings

You don't have the most powerful hardware, and it may be due to your laptop's cooling.

Well apart from making sure everything is up to date, you can try to DDU your display drivers and install fresh ones. Just don't let Windows install the driver automatically after you remove the current one.

 

Also a factory reset never hurt anybody.

One way to make a computer feel like new is to do a clean windows install from a USB stick

This will get rid of junkwares and stuff you no longer need

Pretty much brings your computer back to its full potential, if it's still lack luster for your needs then you'll probably need an upgrade

so bit of a update i Ran DDU In safe mode re installed drivers and it seemed to have made it worser i think. So im gonna do a factory reset and see what happens

I factory reset my pc and its better now way more smoother. I probably had to reinstall windows.
