IO bent due to sag

Look into a GPU brace or something similar. Could even be a Lego build or figurine that you like that fits in the gap between GPU and the case to hold the weight of the GPU. Doesn't have to be fancy, just keep it off and away from the fans.

As far as touching the pins, you should be fine. If you're worried about it clean them with a Q Tip that's been dipped in isopropyl alcohol.

Hello people,

My Asus ROG Strix GTX 1060 6gb has sag due to its size, it has a pretty big heatsink (temps are awesome). It is not usually a problem and It has been installed since around August of 2017, but what worries me a little bit is that recently I took it out of the case and IO shield looks bent, and that kinda worries me.

What do you guys think?

Btw, another question that I have is that when touching the gpu I accidentally touched the gold pins, can that be a problem? My hands where clean, with a little bit of dust because I was cleaning my desk with a cloth. My gpu is working fine but can it cause problems in the future?

I've posted are some photos of my gpu (inside and outside the case)

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.
