Boxes around windows?

Prikk
Go to solution Solved by Real_nimr0d_3,

Try this:

1. Open Start

2. In Search type "Adjust the appearance and performance of windows", Open it

3. Select "Adjust for best appearance"

4. Hit apply than Ok

And you should be good.

So I gave my laptop to my GF for about couple of months now. I don't know how she does it, but I can't seem to move my windows around with a mouse drag, instead, I get this box thing that moves with my mouse...

Where do I change this? I can't seem to find the option anywhere. My Google searches were a failure, I don't know what to Google.

Hi Prikk,

After a Quick Google i found this - http://superuser.com/questions/614743/windows-7-mouse-cant-move-or-resize-windows - Seems to hint towards something that may just go aware on its own, it might be worth sticking the disk in for windows and repairing it to see if their is a fault in it - Although it might just go away on its own - never seen this before though have you tried running registry check under CCCleaner?
