Hard drive issue

Hello I built a new PC today and installed a WD 500G M.2 and a 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD. When I boot into my bios I can see the HDD connected to a sata port but when I boot to windows and go into my file manager it doesn't show up. What could be the problem?

You need to format and create a partition via Disk Management first.

Try formatting the disk in disk management.

Just create a partition by doing like so.

 

Right click Windows icon at the start menu, select disk management, locate the drive with unallocated space and right click on the unallocated area. Make new partition and boom, you're set!

Thanks for the help I was able to partition the drive in about 5 mins.
