For fairly cheap gaming storage a Samsung QVO will do fine.

It's nice for games. I got two of those in a RAID, not had a single problem with either of them. 👍

 

Only thing to watch out for if you copy large files maybe like 10GB large and above it will slow down but who moves such large files around anyway? Just thought I'd let you know.
