need name of pretty weird but very good Roland emulator / sequencer

Mark Kaine
Go to solution Solved by Mark Kaine,

umm, I found it, another case of how programs just disappear, Roland took it down, probably because it's better than their own "solution" lol

"RB-338"

The best thing besides the weirdly accurate sound emulation is the sequencers...

in any case I should have this on cd somewhere, I just hoped not having to dig it out of who knows where it is lol...

it's pretty old - I got it for free, probably 20 years now, I don't think it's actually from Roland, maybe VST, but anyways it's really good, has like 3 303s, 1 808, 1 909, iirc.

built in sequencer, all knobs and functions of the original.

Anyone know the name?

if I had pictures I wouldn't need to ask. 😛

I'm pretty sure it's quite famous actually but google doesn't give anything worthwhile for "303 emulator" etc

basically it was top down graphics of the original machines (so 5 in total) and it didn't have a standard sequencer, it had the original sequencer of these machines...

Here's an example of what a tr 909 looks like (for example) :
