Skyrim Hearthfire Chest bug

All of my mods and DLC work, and are officially* compatible. I have all of the DLC working except the chest near my bed in Lakeview Manor. It is an old save from a game on my previous PC. The chest has a collection of my rare (daedric) weapons so if the fix removes it I won't use it.

Save file is corrupted then, once you make a save with mods, you keep those mods till the end.

If that chest is part of the official hearthfire dlc, you could try removing all your mods and loading a previous save.

I would highly suggest backing up your entire skyrim install before doing anything though (and all your save files which are in some other location).

So:

1-backup

2-delete third party files,

3-load save OR autosave from before your save, check chest, doen'st work? goto some OTHER small inside location, and wait for something like 3 days if I recall, create a NEW save, and close skyrim, reopen it and load that new save and check your chest, that has saved me from a few problems, especially things not related to third party mods. This generally has the added benefit of having a save file not associated with any mods anymore.

The great thing is if I'm wrong, somone will correct me!
