quality of life issue: steelseries engine failing to auto swap profiles

Hi

 

I'm a disabled, one handed, bloke.  I have a steelseries rival mouse (imo most accessible mouse for my impairment) and an apex 7 kboard.   Recently profiles for various games/activities to not auto swap profiles (even though directed to correct exes).  Why might this be and how do i fix?  Not the end of world to need to manually select profiles, just frustrating.

From personal experience, it sort of works. Doesn't work for Overwatch, but does for Gimp and Inkscape. Which is why I use one of the buttons to cycle profiles.

 

Complain to Steelseries, I don't think there's else to do.

Cheers, appreciate response.  It used to auto-flip all profiles, but does no longer - bit disappointing and frustrating.
