Suggestions for pre-built desktop PC - approx £600 budget ($790 US)

Hi All!

 

I am pretty clued up on computers but I haven't been attempting to shop for one in a good while and my own desktop I built myself - and of course it's back friday so perhaps there are some nice bargains out there!

 

As far as what the user would be looking for:

 

• Prebuilt desktop (base unit only)
• Must be Windows 10 - it's what they are used to
• Between £500-£600 budget - approx ($790 US)
• Available in the UK
• User needs will be modest as they tend to browse the internet and therefore only used for undemanding tasks
• Strong quality and reliability record for the manufacturer
• Quiet and no need for lots of leds and loud fans
• The chasis size isn't super important but I don't see any point in it being large

The user is somewhat elderly, Windows 10 perhaps wouldn't be the ideal but it is what they are used to so that can't change.  

• Considering a core i5 or Ryzen
• 8-16GB memory
• 256-512 GB SSD
• Integrated graphics

I think that covers everything.

Why not just get a. laptop, and externl monitor. Then they cn move it if they wnt to.

 

Otherwise id just get. dell/hp tower. There all pretty much the same for this market.

Id stay away from those industrail pcs, no reason to pay extra for them.
