So I'm wanting to upgrade to the 2060 sometime in the near future, but I'm not sure if I should. I have a 1650 at the moment but my main question is if I would cause any bottlenecking or anything of that sort. I have a ryzen 5 2600 as my cpu, but will there be sufficient bottlenecking for me to upgrade my cpu too, or will this one work fine? Thanks, and all answers appreciated!

please provide more details like what games and refresh rate you're targeting

and hopefully you're running some fast dual channel ram for that CPU

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

Not that it would cause bottlenecking, but the 2060 just isn't worth it unless you buy used at a very low price.

By the new year I expect Nvidia to have their lower tier cards announced/out. Possibly AMD as well.

So about when would that be? I'm thinking maybe early 2021 I'll be able to so would they have some that are worth it then? If not what would you recommend

Its difficult to say because if Nvidia is planning to reveal new  mid tier cards, then they'll start slowing down production on current gen cards

Same with AMD.

If you really need a new gpu sooner, maybe look at a 5700 XT. Used if there's no stock.

early 2021 the 3060 could possibly be out, if not the 5700xt is in the price range of the 2060.

So the 3060 should be a good alternative? And also would that be a lot higher or similar; If not I'll probably go with the 5700xt as that's a pretty good option too as far as I know

Mostly Warzone and Valorant and Warzone I'd be aiming at maybe 140 fps on medium-high settings and Valorant maybe 160 on high. And I'm running 2400mhz 16GB of ram so 2x8GB

I have a rtx 2060 coupled with a 3700x cpu and the 2060 is a clear bottleneck with some games. Destiny 2 for example played at 1080p, 144hz. The gpu is maxed out 100%all the way with 50% cpu. Frame rates are between 60 - 130fps. So yes it can be a bottleneck
