HELP I lost all my taskbar desktop and app icons when opened. Please just help

Hi,

 I have modded a windows 10 install to look like windows 7. Then after I enable a Virtual support feature and rebooted I lost all the icons on the PC besides the start menu with a open shell mod. 

I followed a guide on deleting the IconCache.db file that didn't help. I don't want to reset the PC with my steam games on it. Someone please help!

What did you use to do the mod?  Boot to safe mode and uninstall.
