First world problem.

I now own a Palit RTX 3070 (£530) and a Zotac RTX 3080 OC (£850).

I mine Ethereum all day apart from playing Fortnite each evening. Spec below.

The 3070 is all I need for Fortnite but I can mine 50% more everyday with my overpriced 3080.

Do I sell one? Which one? Do I make a purely mining rig?

What would you do?

Is mining even profitable anymore? I'd sell the card I'm not using for gaming.

Not worth to mine using RTX 3080. GPU mining isn't profitable anymore.. it would be 93MHs on 320W. Your better of with Antminer

I've tuned my 3080 to 98MH/s at 230W which gives about $74/month. I also have PV cells so electricity is free for half of the time. So yeah, it's profitable.

I've decided to keep both. The 3070 will just be in a dedicated rig that will just be on in the corner once it's mining. Had enough components lying around to build one up. Apart from a 650W PSU that I've got coming tomorrow for only £36. I couldn't be dealing with selling the 3070 for only £50 profit when I could be mining and it pays for itself after 2 years.

Looks like the 6800XT is only as good as the 3070 for mining. Video shows that even after tuning it he hits 63MH/s like my 3070!
