Yeah I made sure it wasn't the header, fan does the same thing plugged into my other pc

I considered that, but I'd rather not wait that long. Amazon is on their way right now with a replacement, and I was hoping to just get a refund for the broken one

Really? Never had to RMA anything before. Refund isn't generally an option? The item is clearly broken

who'd you buy through, most don't offer a refund, but will replace the part.

I got it from Amazon, and it wasn't more than 6 weeks ago. Might still be returnable through amazon, gotta check

just take the replacement from amazon, and rma the broken one through noctua. Then you have a spare

Ehh.. it happens to all manufacturers.. It’s just that particular brand has been put on a pedestal. I had one go out on me years ago too. No replacement for me because I didn’t have a receipt lol.
