Hey guys,

So I'm going to be getting a new gaming pc next month (april)

I thought i would post the parts I've chose and get someones opinions on them. I am goig to be doing video editing in the future, as well as some software work, so i need the i7, might get more RAM later too.

Parts:

i7 4770k

Asus z87 sabertooth ATX mobo

Gigabyte GTX 780 ti 3GB

8GB Corsair vengence LP RAM (2x4GB)

Corsair h100i Liquid cooler

Corsair HX650W V2 modular PSU

NZXT Phantom 530 Full tower case

What do you guys think? Im going to be getting this at the end of april, so it is subject to change. Please, if you have any suggestions feel free to post them :)

I'd suggest planning later. ~2-3 days at most before you buy. Parts and prices change frequently so any parts list you come up with now will likely be obsolete by the time you're ready to buy.

Sounds a good idea :) I just thought i would make a list of components a while before i purchased, but i guess i'll do that later, and in more detail.

In response to the reply about waiting for the 8xx series of GPU's, isn't maxwell thought to be coming out nearer the end of 2014? Orrr???

Go with an Antec psu for that build and if you want to save a little money you can find Gigabyte boards that are of great value, have loads of features and would be cheaper than that Asus board.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S
