80W Power Supply

Yes

Budget (including currency): Unsure

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft, League of Legends, ARK, GTA V, Diablo 3

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Current PC is

ASRock B450 Pro4

Radeon 570

Ryzen 5 1600

16 GB Ram

450W Power Supply

I wanted to upgrade my CPU and GPU. I was looking to get a Ryzen 7 3700x, I don't know if my current setup would require a better power supply and if there are any other upgrades I would need. Looking for GPU suggestions, preferably under $400

What I assume is 800W will be absolutely fine for that system, including your upgrade.

Sorry idk where I got 80 from, it's 450 lmao.

what 450w psu? decent one can handle just fine. if it is a crappy oem or the cheapest 450w, it might have problems

In that case, you're pushing it. I would upgrade to be sure.

It's a corsair cx450

well then it would be fine. that system will draw around 300-330w so it will be fine. i am runing ryzen 5 3400g and rx 5700XT from cheapest 400w psu temporarily.

Would a 5600 XT be a good gpu to pair with it? I feel like I'm kinda limited with real cost effective upgrades. Seems everything other than AMD is expensive as hell.

I'm not really looking to build a new PC. I don't think I need any of the raytracing sort of stuff the 6700 is going to bring. I don't know much about overclocking either.
