How to properly setup a new TV?

Hello everyone!, I just got a new TV is an LG 50-UN7300 (is my firsts smart 4K TV ever) and honestly I have no idea how to set it up properly, too many options and setting. 
I was looking for some easy guide for beginners.

Do you plan on using the smart functions?

If so, connect to your wifi and log into the tv with google. You can then log into any streaming service you like and start watching.

If not, plug in your console or Chromecast and switch the tv's input.

I think simple is best for this kind of thing!

Make sure you check https://www.rtings.com/ to see if your tv is there as if it is they have great help in setting up your tv as it should be.
