So I was making fun of my johovas wittness friend who I play rust with. He was trying to convert me and I was forcing him to listen to bo burnhams track "perspective of god" while I played battlefield 3

Btw great song and I highly recommend a listen.

 

 

But while I was doing that the computer randomly shut off, stone cold, had no power. Then it tried to turn itself on like 3 times. I unplugged it from the wall checked all the caps and they are solid. reseated all the ram and the power supply. And it turned on just fine and hasn't shut off since.

 

 

Now I just need to find out,

 

 

WTF just happened.

it turned straight on after I reassembled it. There is also a chance I didn't notice myself leaning my knee against it and jumped back when it shut off.

since 2013, the psu was recently replaced and has been solid as a rock. 

 

and so it hasn't turned off since and i've played bf3 and that itunes track and it hasn't turned off at all. I am FAIRLY certain that my knee was leaning on my cases poorly designed power button.

its not illegal as well, you call it freedom of speech. He did not really attack you or your religion as well he just said he likes the song and was bugging his friend...

 

I guess it was a short, or some part not being seated correctly, wouldn't worry about it any more
