The CV450 has less protections?  Where do you see that?

And what is the warranty on the FSP?

i already bought fsp hydro. 5 years of warranty

i3 10100f, Asus Prime H410M-F MOBO, Palit GTX 1650 GP OC (6PIN),8G RAM, 240G SATA SSD. I also wanted to know what protections does the cv450 has (OTP, OCP, OVP, SCP, UVP)

Yea, a 450w should be good and leave enough room to upgrade your cpu and gpu a bit. I also think you might wanna get near 500gb of ssd storage it's not allot more expensive and it will really help

cv450 is okay, but not good.

Edit: I was wrong, it has OTP, but it is still not the best

cv450 is pretty bad.

It does not have OTP, its group regulated, pretty bad ripple and voltage regulation it is also on tier D at this list:

only ofr Igpu systems.

cv650w is better than 450, so it is placed in tier C. But for you i would get 450-550w tier B unit atleast.

how about vs450

I just looked.  No mention of lack of OTP and no link to a review citing bad ripple and poor voltage regulation.

I will say, @kapserg can do A LOT BETTER than a CV450.  But he can also do a lot worse.  Funny thing about the "tier list" is it says that "Tier D" should only be used for iGPU, but if you're using an iGPU, you don't even need a 450W PSU!

Since @kapserg is only using a 1650, he should be fine.  But keep in mind there is ZERO upgrade path from there using that PSU.

reason for its placement is due to Group regulation and UVP. certainly among the best group regulated units tho.

It's actually worse than the CV.  That's what I'm telling you.

Customer reviews are useless. 🙄

They are like I plugged it in and it turned on or it was packed good, or it was a great price, end of review.

Anything that is cheap gets good reviews...... 🙄

Completely irrelevant.
